Our Red Honey’s Origin Story

Grown in the Kayanza region of Burundi at elevations over 1,800 meters, this microlot is made entirely from Red Bourbon cherries. Farmers handpick the ripest fruit and use a red honey process, leaving some of the sweet cherry mucilage intact during drying. This method adds depth, sweetness, and complexity while keeping the cup vibrant and clean.

These coffees come from growers committed to traditional growing methods and sustainable practices. Every step is intentional. Every batch reflects care, patience, and pride in Burundi’s coffee heritage.
