Our Brazil Minas Decaf Coffee is a medium-dark roast of hand-harvested Arabica beans, decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process.

It’s an exceptional decaf that will delight your taste buds.

Grown in Brazil’s Mantiqueira Mountains

This coffee is grown at high elevations—1280 meters above sea level—in the Mantiqueira Mountains of southeastern Minas Gerais, Brazil.

These conditions allow flavors to develop fully within each coffee cherry, creating a rich, sweet profile. The mountain slopes offer good drainage, ideal cloud cover, and cooler temperatures, producing high-quality coffee.

Natural Drying Method:

Using the “natural process,” coffee cherries are dried in the sun with the fruit intact. The cherries are regularly turned to ensure even drying and prevent mold. This slow-drying process allows beans to absorb sugars and flavors from the fruit, resulting in a fuller body and a unique fruity or berry-like taste.

Swiss Water Decaffeination

The Swiss Water Process gently removes caffeine using only water, without chemicals, preserving the bean’s natural flavors and characteristics.

This results in a clean, full-bodied taste that’s perfect for those seeking a natural decaf option without compromising on flavor.

Small Batch Roasted

Small-batch roasting involves coffee beans in limited quantities, typically using smaller roasters that can handle only a few pounds at a time.

This hands-on approach allows for greater control over each stage of the roasting process, ensuring the beans are evenly heated and carefully monitored for optimal flavor development.

With small-batch roasting, each roast can be tailored to bring out the coffee’s unique flavor notes and qualities, resulting in a fresher, higher-quality cup.
