It’s the perfect month to feature the work of Megan Desrosiers. The artist, writer, and dreamer behind Herbal Bones Art & Wellness.
December at Klekolo World Coffee always carries a certain stillness — the kind that invites reflection, creativity, and deeper connection. In many ways, Herbal Bones Art mirrors the reflective mood of this winter month.
Megan’s work brings gentle color, deep symbolism, and nature-rooted magic into the space. Settling in naturally with the quiet, creative heartbeat of our Middletown coffee house.

About the Artist: Megan Desrosiers
Megan is a mixed-media watercolor artist whose work is shaped by ancestry, natural cycles, and the ongoing practice of healing. Raised by two artists, she grew up in a world of paint, creativity, and imaginative play.
But her path to Herbal Bones Art wasn’t linear — it was transformational.
In her Canvas Rebel interview, Megan shares how her art re-emerged after a period of deep inner work and conscious unraveling. Through that healing process, creativity became a form of returning to self — a reclamation of intuition and inner truth.
“We have the ability to create ourselves,” Megan says.
This idea is the foundation of Herbal Bones.
Her work honors the natural world, ritual practices, and ancestral wisdom. It also speaks to the quiet places where insight takes root.”
