Burundi Coffee brings January in at Klekolo World Coffee

January mornings arrive quietly. Cold air, familiar routines, and the first cup poured before the day fully wakes. This January at Klekolo, we’re pouring a Burundi coffee, a single origin that fits that moment perfectly. A clear, balanced, gently alive cup.

Like many of our coffees, this Burundi micro lot is here for now, poured fresh and enjoyed while it lasts.

Why We Chose This Burundi Coffee for January

Burundi coffees aren’t always the first origin people think of, and that’s part of what makes them special.

Our Burundi coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the Ngozi and Kayanza regions. High altitudes and careful processing create a cup that feels crisp, thoughtful, and steady. Ideal for January’s contemplative mornings.

High-Altitude and Thoughtfully Grown

These Bourbon coffee beans are grown at high elevation . They are cured using a red honey fermentation. By leaving some of the coffee cherry on the bean during drying. This allows the natural character of the coffee to shine without heaviness, creating a cup that feels awake but unhurried.
