This is a Nicaraguan Coffee grown in the Matagalpa region. Matagalpa is located in the continental divide between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
This bean is grown at 1000 -1400 m.
This Maracaturra is a “natural” or dry-processed coffee, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit, encouraging a flavor profile that is sweeter and deeper-toned than the more familiar wet-processed coffees of Central America.
In your cup this coffee lingers floral notes with a subtle nut and fruit edge.
