Costa Rican – 1/2 lb
This coffee is shade-grown in the high-altitude volcanic soil of the West Central Valley of Costa Rica, high in the mountains of the Tarrazu region. A wonderful bird habitat.
The location and altitude at which it is grown (1200 – 1700 meters) lends heavily to the intense flavor. Costa Rican coffees are prized for their high notes and their smooth honey-like body.
On the palate, it is full-bodied with hints of lemon, wild berries, and finishes with a honeyed Smokey chocolate and spice. Truly a delight!
